#1: Personalize Your Notifications

Knowing your user's activity and behaviors isn't helpful unless you find a way to apply that data. When creating a push notification, you want to make sure that the message will be something that your user is interested in. Sending notifications immediately makes sense when you have an urgent message to send to your users. For example, if there was breaking news or if an airline had to cancel a flight, they would want the people affected to be notified as soon as possible.

Time zone delivery should be used if your notification is based on users’ time zones.
