What we do

We provide a simple, developer-friendly interface to push notifications for apps and websites.

We started as app developers who just wanted a developer-friendly API for push notifications. Finding no good solution, we built one ourselves.

Today, we are the leading solution for push notifications, supporting over 200,000 developers. OneSignal is available on every platform and development environment that supports push, letting content creators focus on quality user engagement instead of complex implementation.

Our goal is to democratize push communication for everyone from individual blogs to top tier apps.

What we believe

We strive to build a happy, healthy work environment driven by our core values:

Our clients are our top priority. They depend on us for their success. We demonstrate this value through prompt support, great documentation, capturing and acting on customer feedback, and enabling the use of best practices

Everyone is responsible for the success of our customers and the projects we undertake. We demonstrate this value by encouraging autonomy and problem discovery, sharing responsibility for customer support, and holding ourselves accountable to what projects we take on.

We all work together, and it’s important that we all respect one another and bring out the best in each other. We demonstrate this value by giving feedback early and often, creating an inclusive and conscientious work environment, and practicing humility.

We believe strongly in a growth mindset approach to personal development. We demonstrate this value by making growth part of each team member’s goals, discussing failure and learning openly and without judgment, and practicing frequent retrospectives.

The best solutions are rarely the easiest or least risky. We demonstrate this value by encouraging exploration in new technologies and approaches, openly discussing the risks we’re taking and why, and having a bias for action.

Ultimately, we’re here to positively impact our customers. We demonstrate this value by giving everyone autonomy to pursue high impact projects, focusing on meaningful measurements of impact, and recognizing and celebrating every effort that led to success.

Working towards common goals is a big part of our identity. We demonstrate this value by encouraging whole-team involvement in big projects, forming temporary teams and pairing around specific goals, and creating an environment where anyone can ask for help.
