1. Making Email Migration Easy

A future-proof tech stack means having all your channels in one place. That’s why we focused on making it easy to migrate your email to OneSignal, so you can have email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging at your fingertips. That’s why we made setting up and getting started with a new email domain seamless.

After launch, you can preview your audience activity in real-time to make sure everything’s on track. We’ve also added a new template API, which unlocked new integrations with Emailify and Stripo to simplify importing your templates.

2. Data, Data, Everywhere!

Companies rely on a variety of data sources to power meaningful customer engagement. While OneSignal offers many ways to analyze data within our platform, we also want to make our data easily accessible to the rest of your tech stack. That’s why we’re excited to have launched User Model, a Snowflake integration, and Webhooks for Journeys this year—so you can easily track, understand, and share your OneSignal data.

3. Building a Journeys Tool to Rule Them All

Journeys is the easiest and most powerful way to automate your messaging sequences. Since we launched, we’ve added a lot of enhancements to make it even more robust. It’s been another busy year for the Journeys team, and we shipped even more updates, including easier Journeys editing, new actions, and enhanced Journeys analytics.

4. Keeping Up with the Latest Industry Improvements

We’re always keeping our fingers on the pulse of the mobile industry and releasing new features to help our customers unlock access to the latest and greatest functionality. This year, we finally saw the long-awaited launch of web push for iOS devices! After years of anticipation and demand, Apple embraced modern web technology and launched support for web push on iOS and iPadOS 16.4+. It was great to see Apple join Google Chrome and Android to enable companies to communicate with their iPhone and iPad users in a mobile-first way.

5. Continued Investments in Privacy and Security

We're proud to power over a million businesses to send billions of messages daily. And we take our commitment seriously, always working to ensure their data remains secure and private. As part of those efforts, we were excited to announce that OneSignal is SOC 2 Type II certified and HIPPA compliant this year. To bolster every account’s security, we also added SSO support.
